Welcome

SnapInCloud – Exploring Cloud Technology & Capturing Moments

What You’ll Find Here?

Welcome!

I work in cloud and infrastructure engineering, and over the years I’ve spent a lot of time working with Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes, automation, observability, and large-scale platform environments. More recently, I’ve also been exploring AI infrastructure, LLMs, agents, MCP, and how these technologies fit into real-world infrastructure.

A lot of what I learn starts with a problem I’m trying to solve, something I’m experimenting with, or a topic I want to understand properly. I used to keep most of those notes locally so I could refer back to them later – mostly because there is no chance I’m going to remember every command, configuration, or troubleshooting step months later. 😄

SnapInCloud started as a place to turn those notes into something more useful and shareable.

But technology isn’t the only thing I enjoy.

Photography has always been one of my favourite ways to switch off from work. Landscapes, wildlife, travel, night photography – if something catches my eye, I’ll probably try to photograph it. I also wanted somewhere to keep some of those photos in better quality instead of leaving everything buried on hard drives or compressed on social media.

So SnapInCloud has gradually become a home for both sides.

Blogs: Most of my writing is around technology – Kubernetes, Linux, cloud infrastructure, automation, platform engineering, observability, AI infrastructure, and whatever else I happen to be experimenting with.

I try to write from a practical point of view rather than just repeat documentation – what I tested, how something actually works, where things broke, and what I learned while figuring it out.

You may also occasionally find posts about photography, especially when there is an interesting story, setup, or learning experience behind a particular shoot.

And if you spot something I’ve got wrong, feel free to let me know. I’m always happy to learn from someone who has approached the problem differently.

Photography: When I’m away from terminals and clusters, there’s a good chance I’m carrying a camera.

The photography section is a collection of landscapes, wildlife, travel, city scenes, and a few experiments with things like astrophotography and long exposures.

Some photographs may also have a Behind the Shot story where there’s an interesting process, setup, or bit of experimentation worth sharing.

So whether you came here for Kubernetes and infrastructure, AI experiments, or simply to look through some photographs – welcome to SnapInCloud.
